Does your company have a challenge worth exploring further by a student at UiS?

Energy Transition Norway invites member companies to submit ideas for master's thesis projects. These ideas will be presented to students at "Find Your Thesis" on 31 August – an event where industry and students come together around real-world challenges.
Master's students are looking for relevant thesis topics, and many companies have challenges or ideas they would like to explore further. Through Find Your Thesis, Energy Transition Norway aims to connect these needs.
We welcome both broad challenges and more specific research questions. Perhaps your company has a technical challenge you'd like to investigate, an area where you need more knowledge, or an idea that has never made it to the top of the priority list.
Suggested thesis topics may include, but are not limited to:
We also welcome relevant topics from other disciplines connected to the energy sector.
Find Your Thesis takes place on Monday, 31 August 2026 at 4:00 PM at the University of Stavanger (UiS).
Participating companies will have the opportunity to present their thesis ideas directly to master's students looking for relevant projects. It's a great opportunity to gain fresh perspectives on your own challenges, connect with potential future employees, and network with other companies facing similar opportunities and challenges.
