Energy Transition Norway has welcomed five new companies to the cluster: BladeShip, Ishi Energy, Draga, NoviOcean, and XTract. The new members bring expertise across thermal energy storage, wind blade recycling, engineering, offshore renewable energy, and well plugging and abandonment — reflecting the broad range of technologies and expertise driving the energy transition.
XTract develops downhole technology for plugging and abandonment (P&A), with theaim of reducing dependence on heavy offshore rigs
BladeShip is developing a mobile, barge-based solution for recycling decommissioned windturbine blades where they are located, reducing the need for costly transportand handling.
Ishi Energy develops technology for large-scale thermal energy storage in rock, enablingexcess heat to be stored when available and used when demand and value arehighest.
Draga isthe company behind MIMS Engineering Suite and has strong expertise inengineering. They provide consultants and solutions for efficient operationsand control.
NoviOcean develops a floating offshore platform that combines wave, wind and solar powerto deliver more stable renewable energy from the same sea area.
ETN looks forward to the collaboration ahead.
