On February 7th, Energy Transition invited Norway to the first breakfast meeting of the year. Sigve Klepsvik from Eksfin - Export Financing Norway and Henrik Meidell Furnes, CEFA at Innovation Norway, presented various financing opportunities and programs available to Norwegian companies investing in exports.
Eksfin, which recently established a new office in Stavanger to be more accessible to local small and medium-sized businesses, has both exporters and exporters' subcontractors among their clients.
Innovation Norway continues to be the go-to office for export-ambitious Norwegian companies with its various programs, loans, and guarantee products.
Thus, both organizations supports the ambitious goal set by the Norwegian government to increase Norwegian exports other than oil and gas by 50% by 2030 while cutting overall greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55%.
